[LAU] Envy24Control is missing the Analog Volume tab - need guidance...

Nope they're there alright via the "External mixer" button. 
It's not obvious from that page but I think it is stated there.

That manual shows everything - the ADC/DAC front end controls 
 AND the AC97 controls. Explains all. Take a look.

Ooh, crud. Look like my automatic searching for the program "alsactl"
 has failed. 

Er... that is IF you have alsactl installed. Is it there ? 
It is required for both envy24control and mudita24, otherwise no profile 
 saving/loading. I try to auto-locate in md24. 
If you have trouble, --h says :

"The program 'alsactl' is automatically found and used.
 Environment variable ALSACTL_PROG overrides its location."

cmake does the searching for me. I thought I'd nicked that issue.
