[LAU] Audio de-clipping

Hi list,

two days ago I had an idea how one might de-clip audio files.

Is it useful?
Am I doing s.th. substantially wrong?
More ideas besides linear and sine-based interpolation?
Such stuff better to be posted to linux-audio-dev?
