No asound configurations on my Arch Linux, just

$ cat /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf
# ALSA module ordering
options snd slots=snd_hdspm,snd_ice1712,snd_ice1712

The RME card is hw:0 and should be the device that does play the files.
I installed libsndfile, portaudio and gtk to build ABX.

If I switch the driver used by Jack2 from alsa to portaudio, jack won't
start anymore, since there's no driver portaudio.
I don't have time to do research on this topic now.
