[LAU] sortof OT -- ART tube pac preamp and compressor noisy?

I bought this unit and returned it the same day. The noise is inherent in
the design. This device is not suitable for any serious use. The guy at
GuitarCenter told me that they have a 100% return rate on it and cautioned
me not to buy it in the first place.
