You are seemingly using a package from Sid

http://packages.debian.org/sid/ardour3

Jessie is ardour3 (3.4~dfsg-2)

and for stable there is no Ardour3 package, at least not by the official
repositories.

Stable is ardour (1:2.8.14-2).

Arch Linux comes with 3.5.74.
