[LAU] mixing advice/assistance needed

Figured I would give it a quick stab before a meeting, but didn't quite
finish it before I had to leave, here is the incomplete result.  Still
something going on in the high end I need to track down though...

Sadly I just don't have time to do a great job with it, I went for the
quickest way I could to get it this far, rather than the best quality.
