It is interesting. I just, a week or two ago, upgraded my system from 32
to 64 bits in my office studio. We have a network Canon printer/copier for
the office (Big bugger as we do a lot of printing of handouts, booklets,
etc.) that before I did this I spent hours trying to get working on Linux.
Once I upgraded form Bodhi 1.* 32-Bit to Bodhi 2.2 64-Bit, and installed
the printer services and configuration tools, I got at least basic black
and white printing automatically. I haven't looked into seeing if I can
get color working much, but honestly right now I will take what I have as I
don't do much graphic work on that machine, it is my audio machine first
and foremost.

Just interesting ancedote about Canon support, I don't think these drivers
had anything to do with Canon however and much more to do with the
Ghostscript/Postscript community, but I could be very wrong as I don't keep
up with Linux printing.
