On the homepage I missed a word about DSSI, the DE when using Ubuntu LTS
and I wonder if the screen resolution is really a must. The FAQs inform
about missing LV2 and LADSPA support for version 1, while beta still isn't
ready yet. It might become interesting in the far future, OTOH there is so
much progress for Linux FLOSS audio, perhaps it can't compete with the
free software, that is tested for several distros and got support by the
community.
Who will do the support? Will they do? How much will it be? Regarding to
compatibility between Linux Studios and Microsoft and Apple based studios,
will the Microsoft and Apple users care about it?
It's interesting that they care about Linux, to badmouth wouldn't be fair.
Time will show. I will not subscribe to get their newsletter.
