alike jack_delay: connect a cable from the physical midi-out back to
midi-in on your soundcard and run

./jack_midi_latency -i system:midi_capture_1 -o system:midi_playback_1

or similar, check jack_midi_latency --help, manually connecting the
ports works as well.
