[LAU] jackd on ARM?

Is anyone using jackd on an ARM device?  I get the same error described here:

"FATAL: cannot locate cpu MHz in /proc/cpuinfo"

Someone tried to submit a kernel patch to fix it but people don't
think it should be fixed:
