all right, thanks for the help. that way it compiles here too. no oss 
and pulse installed here.
but now - does it work with jack for you?

here, with alsa the synth makes nice noise, but when started with jack, 
noise is coming out of the speakers immediately, as soon the cursynth is 
started.
