Don't confuse the less good sample quality of old reverbs, with the
character of those reverbs. IOW you won't find Linux algorithms that
provide what's needed to use the reverb as special effect e.g. for old
school drum fatten. You could use IR to get it, but then you can't
modify the reberb, as you could do when using algorithms.
