Ralf, I have a Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 with an AMD FX-8350.  I like it very
much now that I've found and stomed the bugs that caused me some issues at
first.  I've written up the experience here:

The board's got a PCI slot and a FireWire port (which is important to me
for a while still).  Good luck!
