[LAU] which lau distro is more commandline friendly?

my office uses Ubuntu, and I am willing to  guess that mileage must vary. 
that daily experience has me firmly against investing my professional life 
in  Ubuntu if I can help it.
the rest are not relevant to how I intend using this box.
