The context is this mailing list and he sent the mail from
boosthardware.com

So they (the employer/s) are most likely him and his "Partners"

"64 Studio - Low latency, customised Audio and Multimedia distribution
running on Linux, Ubuntu

Marschall Acoustics - Sonar, Geophysics, custom built & designed High
End Digital Audio Workstations"

The kind of offer, with all the missing information and the hint to
have your own car clearly leads to "Klinkenpuzen" (word by word
translation "polishing doorhandles", IOW "bell ringing"). "Multimedia
Hardware Technician" describes the needed skills.

Customer acquisition and introducing new gear indeed is done this way
in Germany, both dubious and "reliable" "Klinkenputzen".

His offer gives the (perhaps wrong) impression to be from the dubious
kind, however, even "reliable" "Klinkenputzen" isn't a job a lot of
technicians like to do.
