Hmm. It works in Ardour4 for me. I'll try out Carla and lv2_jack_host and
see if I can reproduce this.

I noticed there is a standalone binary. It works wonderful. *But* looks
> like it's ALSA only -- no jack! And it doesn't look possible to choose
> the audio interface to use.

I'll add a MIDI/Audio menu in a coming version.
