Since the OP didn't mention what distro is used, the Arch user
repository PKGBUILD clones from git, so it builds the current master
from git, 
https://aur4.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/snapshot/guitarix-git.tar.gz .

Don't care about the pkgver that is mentioned at 
https://aur4.archlinux.org/packages/guitarix-git/ .
