Did you have positive experiences with the BeagleBone Black audio
capabilities?

It looks like
<http://www.element14.com/community/community/designcenter/single-board-computers/next-gen_beaglebone/blog/2013/05/28/bbb--audio-notes>
the internal audio is not bad but is available only via HDMI

There are also a couple of solutions to have audio inputs and outputs, but
I'm not sure about the quality of the codec used:

   - Audio Cape <http://elinux.org/CircuitCo:Audio_Cape_RevB>
   - SoundsCape
   <http://beagleboard.org/blog/2014-04-23-project_spotlight_soundscape/>

Cheers,

Marco
