Is it possible to try 'carla-single' ?  It is not provided in
Carla-2.0beta4-linux64 and compiling Carla from git has the
R_X86_64_32S error.

Considering the number of dependencies, and differences with some of
them, might not be so easy if the problem is exterior to Carla.
