Yep, that's definitely recommended watching.

I'd also like to add: if you want to achieve better audio quality in
your recording process, the first *technical* measure is use better
microphones, preamps and audio interfaces.

(Things like acoustic treatment, microphone setup, proper cabling and
shielding etc. are other avenues to explore.)
