MP3, Real Time? MP3 adds something like 300ms latency. As comparison 
skype's encoding is around 30ms. If you want anything close to realtime... 
Opus is it. (Opus being completely open, the HTML5 standard are also good 
reasons to use it over Mp3 propietary code)
