I guess/agree that you are aware what you need. Did you read

tautological. OTOH I suspect Franz Kafka explicitly would have
distinguished it in a similar style, for good reasons.

The ear is as much a tactile organ as fingertips are, just
the interpretation of the tactile interpretation by the ear is tricky.
However, especially when it's about measurements, I would be careful
with EQing.
