[LAU] Using commandline app to mark/detect sounds above a threshold

Hello,

There is also a nice Qt app also, QJackRcd which can record stereo 
through Jack, and automagically pause or create a new file when the 
audio reaches a certain threshold. This is useful for very long sessions 
with moments of blank audio.

This is included in Debian, Ubuntu and Arch, but if you prefer build it 
from scratch, the project is on sourceforge:
