I'm using Linux and iOS, but I suspect class compliant devices are that
much supported regarding Mac OS and not regarding iOS. Both are Apple
operating systems, but during my tests, before I bought a class
compliant device that works with my iPad, as well as with Linux and
getting in contact with audio device vendors, I noticed that they do
_not_ support iOS. Some devices just work with iOS, while some require
an external active USB hub and some even don't work with an active hub,
let alone that some software requires Audiobus + MiMix or AUM (without
Audiobus) to access all I/Os of a class compliant audio interface.
