Yes, that is a good idea. I was very lazy this time, taking presets from
the hardware involved. I already knew, when I was recording, that some
further programming would have made a difference. Filtering is one, a
slight random variation in pitch - static per note - is another, some
velocity switching could also help, as might even some breathy/noisy
sample layering for wind instruments. That's where it really pays to put
in some extra work before one starts. :(
