[LAU] Hardware Soundcard - MOTU 624 AVB Working with Gnu/Linux - Debian 8.7

Hi everyone,

I know this is an old thread, but apparently this is the most recent
discussion about the MOTU 624 audio interface.

I have found it used for a good price and I would like to ask the people
that own it if it is still a good choice or if they can recommend a better
USB interface with similar features.

As far as I can understand form the above discussion the MOTU 624 works
pretty much out of the box under Linux, but there are some issues with
recent firmware. Also if you connect the ethernet cable you can access the
web app to control all the settings of the card from your browser. Is that
correct?
