In other words, Dupler seems to be essentially just another
audio-to-MIDI converter like Autoscore, etc (which I mentioned in an
earlier post to the list).

This is hardly Linux's fault.  Dupler's manufacturer (Vochlea) has
chosen not to make it available for Linux.

Nor is Dupler free (as in freedom) :(
