Hi Robin,
Well, I don't know what Durian will be about
It's a Japanese-style anime, I believe - "epic fantasy theme with lots
of action, monsters and a girl hero!"
but there's of course the
option of an alternative - non classical - sound-track.
Yep, I've just been watching Death Note anime volume 3 DVD and they've
gone for industrial metal/thrash/punk on the theme tunes, much heavier
than the earlier volumes. No cello :-)
