If we go with 1), then I'd say none of the proposed designs cut it. If we go
with 2), I am almost more interested in the 01 version rather than the 04
version.
I think just the 'Made with Linux Vol. x' header, same placement
and font are enough of branding.
The background should support the foreground, having any fixed
characteristics there will be a hindrance sooner than later.
Oh, and I will not provide for a choice in this regard ;)
