Point well taken. OTOH, Linux, and subsequently Lao is also about community.
Instead of having a common theme, there could be just one common
element. A header like you see on
http://www.heise.de/, with
links to all subdomains.
Regarding calls for volunteers, I guess those could be more
effective on the lau list :)
