Interesting. I must admit that I am flattered by your attentiveness to my comments but I did not think that you should take them literally. Rather, I hoped to present them as catalysts for inspiration :-). All that being said, I think it has an interesting charm, but as a foundation for permeating background in various hues it may not be the best solution (otherwise every CD will have this "shiny star/explosion/whatever-you-want-to-call-it"). Ico

I don't even know what is supposed to be defining for retail cd cover art. Styles vary dramaticaly even inside single genres and there's alot of stuff I don't consider to be convincing. But I'm sure you will show us how to be less linuxy and more retail soon! -- Thorsten Wilms

Not quite. I think we should pay allegiance to the title and/or subtitle (should we opt for preserving either or both), especially given our mission and/or this project's purpose. What I mean to suggest is that there are other, perhaps more sublime ways of achieving the same goal which may ultimately yield more potent results. Ico

Perhaps you're a bit much concerned about a consistent theme across the series. I think the header would do enough for that. BTW, what's up with the setup of this mailing list? My mutt says no mailing list defined and infact I didn't see a list-post-to or how it's called in the header, so a reply-to-list doesn't work (quite inconvenient). -- Thorsten Wilms
