Hi all.
On Wednesday the 7th of March the monthly Berlin meeting is taking place at c-
base. I'll as usual be in the mainhall from 20:00.
See you there! :-)
Cheers

Some time after I composed the original 'Ride With Yoshimi' (as a demo track)
I split out the finale and slightly re-arranged it as stand alone.
However, I was never really happy with it, so a few days ago I made a fresh
arrangement which is now up on SoundCloud:
https://soundcloud.com/soft-sounds/yoshimi-rides-home-remix
It is downloadable as 24bit 48k - I only fairly recently discovered that SC
actually stores your tracks in whatever format you send, even though it streams
at a mediocre poor mp3 rate.
Hope you enjoy it.

Say you have a poem and I have a tune.
Exchange them and we can both have a poem, a tune, and a song.
Hi Folks,
I finally have space in my new home to outfit a complete studio.
I am wondering what you place on your walls to help prevent sound from
carrying that does not damage the wall itself?
I share walls with others, so want to keep the sound in my studio as much
as possible.
Thoughts?

I'm not necessarily recording this kind of music, but I listen to this
kind of music.

Antenna cable empty conduit are usually a minor issue, compared with the
even triple-glazed window leak. However, the main pitfall is material
property + design of the building. As already pointed out, a new
building is something like a thinner version of a high-rise bunker, by
default quite good, but laminate flooring could ruin the advantage. Old
builduings with a wooden ceiling/floor, instead of concrete, are plain
resonators.

Hi.
Quite a shot into the dark, but: Is anyone here by chance into
eurorack modular and has tried the Expert Sleepers ES-8 USB Interface
with Linux yet? It claims to be class compliant, but you never know...

Hey hey,
not Linux specific, but I'm sure a few of you might go. If anyone's willing to
go from Dortmund or Hamm (NRW, Germany) on wednesday, returning on sunday, I'm
willing to share. Ticket will be 37.5%. I'll probably check out the itinerary
next week and choose fixed trains.
For anyone else who might be coming from other places, meeting up is always
fun.
Best wishes,
Jeanette
