The include package list looks a bit outdated, isn't it?

You'd better look at the Packages lists from the repositories:

http://ppa.launchpad.net/kxstudio-team/ppa/ubuntu/dists/<dist>/main/binary-amd64/Packages

Replace <dist> by lucid, maverick, natty, oneiric, precise, quantal,
raring, or saucy

For example, in precise, jack2 version is 1.9.10~git20130908
No, that is wrong.

KXStudio uses a lot of separate repositories, and now it's even moving to Debian based repos.
Only 12.04.x (precise) use the "old" kxstudio-team PPAs now.
