well... tested in Windows and the level is as high as in Linux. There is no Edirol control panel or software mixer to lower the levels in the interface. I guess I'll have to get a mixer.

I've watched this thread with some bewilderment.

I had an FA-101, earlier this year. It was great, but the output levels on it were really LOW. Not high at all, it was actually kind of wimpy in terms of output levels.
