Nothing like a nice bit of controversy. I am going to pass the buck on this one, the only graphics toolkit I like working with is my own, Brighton, it looks good and does what I want it too (ie, send MIDI messages).

I had an application something like this one down on my own wishlist, to be implemented in Brighton, but it has been at the bottom of that list for as long as I can remember having it and for a while was is danger of falling off. The truth is that now it probably has - "The GUI is out there". I am 100% pro contributions and this is a useful one - David is commited to maintaining it, making sure it is up to date with the bristol releases and I am sure he will get a reasonable wishlist of features that make sense (have not yet given him my featurelist for the app, wouldn't want to put him off too early). I have no idea if he is interested in using any other toolkit and my opinion is that he should carry on with mono - a part of the point of open source is that it is developed out of an interest and the language is a part of that, no?

Kind regards, Nick.
