The mixer window is not considered to be a dialog or subwindow of the program.

I'm just writing because I recently did that...

I did that on the mixer window (with what is probably the latest
version of A3), ardour crashed.

Now I'm on A4, and it does not respond to ctrl+w.

Oh, and A4 did not manage to run with the alsa backend, while jack
works fine on the same interface.
