For simple wave edit you can use mhwaveedit wich is easy to use and intuitive.

Yes, it;s seg faulting here too, with Fedora 8 and ubuntustudio 64bit, even with a manual compile.
A real shame, as it's a powerful editor, more than worthy of a place in any studio, or compositional environment.
I hope this changes, as i've definitely missed it.
