Hi Len!<div><br></div><div>Yes, I only see 2 JACK capture ports but 7 or 8 outputs. I don&#39;t think I need AC3 or even stereo capture (although that would be a plus) to work as the real intent is to use this adapter to capture the output of a KORG D16 multitrack into JACK</div>
<div><br></div><div>I dug out my ol&#39; SHARP CD/MD deck to use its optical out for a quick test this morning before work. I got rid of the experimental ALSA config, made sure that SPDIF In was enabled under ALSA mixer, connected my SHARP, started playing a CD and then started JACK but still I only got 2 capture ports (mic L and R). I then stopped JACK and fired up Audacity but that didn&#39;t seem to let me select SPDIF in as a capture source either.</div>

not work on these cards.<br>
