One minor issue I have had with soundcloud is the MP3 encoding introduces artifacts occasionally on material that has quieter passages with instruments in the higher register (like woodwinds). Luckily, if I upload a WAV, it will keep that as the download file while having the lower quality MP3 for playback on the site. <a href="http://archive.org">archive.org</a> will let me have multiple formats online, including FLAC and OGG.</div>
