Thanks Dave. I gave SoundCrab a go but it caused me even bigger xrun problems than QSynth, plus constant &#39;alarm bells&#39;, so to speak. Shame - it looked promising.<br><br>(I should point out that I&#39;m fairly new to Linux, so the problems I&#39;m having may not be inherent in the applications themselves - I may just not be configuring things correctly due to the limited time and knowledge I have).<br>
