It's pretty stable but seems to consume a lot of (video) ressources for the
vumeter display...

AFAIK the guys at Ableton thought it'd be a laugh to implement the UI in python...

Even when I had a decent CPU running native WinXP then in a simple Live session the UI was laggy.
