I use a Native instruments Komplete Audio 6. which appears to me still
current. Very linux compatible & been reliable for my limited
requirements. I've never pushed it to its limits or tried to extend it
so my knowledge is limited.
Used all 4 channels, midi
i/o,
phantom power, monitor out, phones.
Not used SPDIF.
