I very nearly missed this, as I only got home at 5:00, and hadn't looked at my
computer before going to work this morning.
Very interesting interview, well done guys, I think you put over all your
points very well. It can't have been easy responding to questions on-the-fly
like that,and maintaining user-level answers rather the an geeky ones!

Nice one!
This was a really friendly and informational interview focusing on the
usability aspects of both of the projects. I'd recommend it to anyone
interested in learning more about them (if a recording is made available).
It was really nice to see the progress on the Mod side (I can't wait for
mine to arrive :)

Does anyone know how many people the FLOSS Weekly show reaches?
I mean: was it "preaching to the choir" and only people from the open
source, free software and linux "In-Group" watch this or is there
actually a chance that this will reach people new to linux in general
and linux audio especially?

For now, yes. The real website is being prepared at the moment.
Hopefully it doesn't take long...
So is there anywhere where one can see the latest status of the MOD
right now? I played around a bit with it at the last LAC, but that's
almost a year ago now.

Enjoyed the episode very much, you and Gian did very well and it was great
example of two mature and relevant Linux Audio projects. Thanks for
posting the link! Seeing a completely assembled MOD and hearing that
