Hi all,
My band just finished up production of a live recording, all done
using (Arch) Linux, mixed with Mixbus. I wrote a little blog entry

Very interesting write up indeed, especially how you decided to master
it and I liked the way you coloured your shell code box to mimic C64
basic- slick touch! Music sounds good to boot- nice sound you have!

Hi Sean,
nice talk on the website and cool music.
The opener just fits very well to my musical mood. Benn listening
to some 70's Hard-Blues-Rock (Cactus) just before. Cool transition

Thank you Tom, for the kinds words and of course your plugins! I have
to admit that in my haste I hadn't even made the connection that you
wrote the TAP plugins as well even though I've been using them for
years... I'll have to update the post accordingly.
And of course I owe a huge debt of gratitude to all the LADs. You
might not always see it, but you are making a difference. :)

New subject: Demo video (about 8 minutes) of revised gmorgan on Youtube
A few months ago it looked like Gmorgan had been abandoned, so I
volunteered as an admin and made modifications to it.
It compiles easily for Linux. Although the old project page says it runs
in windows, I don't know for sure that it does. (Let me know if you can
run it in windows.)
To show you how it looks and sounds, I used the Ubuntu 11.4 desk top
recorder, a simple mixing board, and a midi keyboard to create this 8
minute video. Everything was done in Ubuntu. It could have lost some
quality because the desktop recorder produced an ogv file, then it got
edited using Pitivi, converted to a wmv to upload to youtube, and
finally youtube puts it in their format. So it could be a third
generation of the original.

The original documentation including the web site does not reflect the
modifications, so there is more to be done. It is a work in progress.
