The intention of content: to paint a dark, mysterious and terrifying place, a
cave.
The technical inspiration: a demonstration of impulse response reverbs to a
friend.
Technical details: drone made in Csound based on the aeroacoustic model,
originally proposed by R. Selfridge and coded in Csound by myself and a simple
three-operator chain of PM oscillators: 2:2:5 (modulator:carrier ratios) ad a
looping envelop to modulate the depth of PM. A sampled piano and multiple
recordings of my own voice.

Thank you very much. There are two reverbs involved in this piece. The
drone is put through a reverb of St. Mary's church from
www.openairlib.net 's auralisation database, as is the voice. The piano
is put through a reverb from www.echothief.com, the tunnel to hell, I
think. Both collections are freely available. The delayed piano is the
canyon delay. After much ado, searching through all my IRs, I finally
went for that. It's been such a long time, since I've used it or
actively heard it used.

I can vividly imagine the place! Those piano disharmonics resemble ice
cold water dripping down my spine.
Is this 'released' and possible to use in other settings, if so under
what license? In my case it would be for use on a non-profit radio
station as part of a jingle or as a complete piece to induce the right
mood for a scary story at night...

Interesting brooding atmosphere.
It actually put me in mind of the London Underground many years ago when the
lighting was poor and the tunnels dark and dingy. These tunnels criss-cross so
much that you can often hear 'phantom' trains that never arrive.
