Can we have a unique divider between the domain and product?

   foo.bar at example.com
and
   foo at bar.example.com

.. are in java both represented as

   com.example.bar.foo


Having instead, say

   com.example at bar.foo
and
   com.example.bar at foo

.. would resolve this (minor) issue.
