[linux-audio-user] How to check if I have midi connection?

There is an alsa test application that will report the
midi message types. Sorry, I can't remember where it's
at in the tree or its name. I've used is with
excellent results. Clemens brought it to my attention
in a LAU thread that would have included midiman 8x8.
