[linux-audio-user] VIA82xx/ICE1232, low sound level on recording

Hi,
Thanks for the input; that was more or less my intention in the short to
mid term. However, for right now, I meant to run it directly in and
didn't expect any problem, as this very same mic used to perform okay
going into my old SBLive. But I guess maybe that card had better gain...
