I don't read this as some kind of "let's forget about mainline and do our
own thing". Rather I read it as others have: let's put together media and
audio software that all works together and leave out the stuff we don't
need. I see your point, Lee, but there is nothing to stop the developers of
a slim-downed, more specific distro contributing back to mainline.
