Dirt cheap. Unix-geek-friendly (they're BSD-based, but have exceptionally-geeky stuff like emacs and lisp interpreters in their shell accounts, highly competent technical staff, etc.)

The payment plan is unique: I don't pay per month. I just pay per bytes served (and stored). Some of my simple sites, with only a few visitors, and only a few MB of data (like a couple songs), it cost me pennies per YEAR to run. It's just a non-expense... I can almost pay my web hosting bill with pocket lint.
